Deleting an Application
Deleting an application permanently removes it along with all of its workflows, resources, and schemas. This cannot be undone.

Export the application first if there is any chance you will need it again. See Exporting an Application.
Before you begin
- Confirm that no other application depends on this application's workflows or resources.
- Export the application if you need a copy.
Delete an application
- Right-click the application in the Applications panel and select Delete.
- Read the confirmation text in the delete dialog, titled Delete followed by the application name. It states what will be removed, which differs for Git-enabled and Bundle applications.
- Type the application's name exactly as prompted.
- Select Delete.
The confirmation dialog asks you to type the name only when the application contains items. For a Git-enabled application, the dialog warns that deleting also removes the application from the Git repository along with all its associated schemas.
How you know it worked
The application disappears from the Applications panel, and Studio returns you to the workspace or the parent view.
When it does not work

| Delete stays unavailable | The typed name does not match the application name. | Retype the name exactly, including capitalization and spaces. |
| Delete is missing from the menu | You do not have permission to delete in this workspace. | Ask your workspace administrator. |
